Exciting new premises for Meneage street surgery in April 2025. Come and see first-hand the plans and the progress.

In April 2023 the partners of Helston Medical Centre known as Helios Health Partnership took a new contract to run Meneage Street Surgery. We were fortunate to be able to use the existing surgery but only for a period of two years so during this time we have been looking to secure new premises for the surgery from April 2025. We are delighted to announce that we have secured premises that are as nearby as possible to the existing site but will also provide enough space for the growing population of Helston and surrounding areas. The former Budgens site has been derelict for some years and working with South Kerrier Alliance CIC (SKA), Cornwall Council, and NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB) this has finally been made possible.

We appreciate there will be many questions and therefore we ask everyone to keep an eye on our website and Facebook pages for the most up to date information. We have organised an open event at the site on Thursday 12 September for patients to drop in anytime between 3pm and 6pm. There will be an opportunity to see first-hand the plans and the progress, as well as a presentation at 3pm and 5pm.
